And all media or proposals by economists or essays by intellectuals I've read so far are pushing Covid's nationalist bow wave, too, staring at national bellybuttons. But logically, a pandemic or its global economic and political fallout can't be mitigated within national borders

A national attempt wd get thwarted by travellers soon after the 2 months. IMO, a synchronous global lockdown ensures its success. Afterwards, the time or dance until vacc are available globally, is less stressful. Ofc, food distribution during lockdown has to be planned worldwide
The pirates of the Econobscene won't like this. Bc they won't be able to find a profitable harbour where continued 4% dividend is still possible during the 2 months. Godforbid, no profit!

It doesn't have to be all 200+ nations at first. Enough, when continents like Europe, Africa and SouthAmerica visibly begin their preparation for concerted effort and shared resources. Asian countries who are furthest in the Covid dance might join them early. All others follow.
Non-profit & sharing/distributing food/essentials is also the pathway to stay near 1.5˚C warming. A non-profit phase for 10 years for the overhaul in energy, agriculture and towards #circulareconomy enables closing industry & shifting workers w/o hardships.
