1. Sudden unprecedented rise in disclosures of #CSA #neglect #DV etc.

2. Local Authorities struggle with capacity to react after 10 years of austerity.

3. Global #economy shot so deprivation levels rise

4. Deprivation leads to poverty of opportunity for generations (poorer housing, lower educational standards, higher crime, poorer health etc).

5. Charities jump in to take the strain.

6. Smaller charities unable to meet all demand due to loss of revenue from fundraising.

7. Local Authorities increase the threshold to keep numbers manageable.

8. Only the most extreme cases reach Child in Need or CP status.

9. Those that don’t reach this threshold struggle to gain support.

10. These become then the most vulnerable.
