The lockdown was imposed in earlier phase of outbreak. It is possible that we have prevented its spread to most vulnerable’s including elderly and those with coexisting diseases. once free movement ensues, we will have probably similar trajectory as we see in rest of the world.
This is why we should continue the new normal in terms of ensuring mandatory use of masks, physical distancing, avoiding large gatherings, and strict isolation of cases found by active surveillance. These measures should continue until we have an effective vaccine.
If anything, the ascending phase of the curve has just started. Please do not mistake it that we have beaten the curve. (not flattening, that's what the narratives are saying) worldometers.info/coronavirus/co…
