When Israeli police enter the Haredi neighborhoods they do so like violent invaders and not like agencies that are trusted to help the residents.
This is not the first time that Israeli police interfere when Palestinian organizations provide much-needed services to residents of East Jerusalem. They cite Palestinian Authority intervention in the city as the reason.

Ward's relationship with the Union of Jewish Students continued for two decades, with her delivering a speech for their panel entitled "Bridges, Not Boycotts" in 2017.
