The US now has more than 1 million confirmed #COVID19 cases. It reported 20,354 new cases, bringing the total number of cases to 1,007,514. It also added 1211 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 56,624.
Spain's new #COVID19 cases continue to drop. The country reported 2793 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 229,422. It also added 331 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 23,521.
Italy reported 1739 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 199,414. It also added 333 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 26,977.
France reported 3742 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 165,842. It also added 437 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 23,293.

Canada reported 1563 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 48458. It also added 144 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 2704.
Belgium reported 553 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 46,687. It also added 113 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 7207.
The Netherlands reported 400 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 38,245. It also added 43 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 4518.

... while limiting the impact that the pandemic could have on local communities. He said that while many people think #COVID19 rapid test can filter out all existing cases, the downside of rapid testing is to create more false positive and false negative results.
From an economic perspective, Taiwan will need 4.6 billion NTD in order to test every citizen for #COVID19 through the cheaper rapid test. If Taiwan wants to test every citizen with PCR testing, it will need 69 billion NTD to complete the task.

More on #COVID19 - #China reported 6 new cases, bringing the total number of cases to 82836. It added no new death for another day, keeping the total number of deaths at 4633. Among the six new cases, three are imported and three are locally transmitted.
The numbers are provided as a reference for the world, as the accuracy of these numbers remains highly uncertain. #China made a major adjustment to its number a few weeks ago, adding 50% more deaths in #Wuhan, the original epicenter of the global pandemic.
Mexico reported 852 new #COVID19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 15,529. It also added 83 new deaths, increasing the total number of deaths to 1434.
