...because your company billed me twice this month AND last month. The whole reason I had to pay your $200 deposit back in February was because your autopay system wasn't working and now, you're taking money out whenever you want with autopay and refuse to refund... #COVID19

It could take up to 120 DAYS to rectify this with my bank by disputing the charge which Edward at @austinenergy said was my ONLY recourse because CoA doesn't give refunds, even when they are at fault. I could end up losing my home over this. #COVID19
To make things even worse, Austin residents are not able to choose another utility company:

I hope that someone somewhere can help a disabled single mother who is already struggling immensely and was sick with multiple viruses requiring hospitalization last month. I almost died and I'm barely able to hold things together as it is. This is NOT MY FAULT. #COVID19
I PAID MY BILL EARLY. Someone besides ME needs to take responsibility where responsibility is DUE. Preferably @austinenergy. If they can take the money out of my account, they can PUT IT BACK IN when no permission was given to charge my account twice in the first place. #COVID19
I'd LOVE to know WHAT I did to deserve this kind of treatment. Since when do companies essentially steal money from customers & then claim they arent responsible for the fallout by refusing to give a refund? I'd really like this question answered for once. @austinenergy #COVID19
