(2) The video appears to show a handsome, badass American Alpha male (pardon the redundancy) expressing disgust at a tip jar set up to collect money towards procuring the assassination of US President @realdonaldtrump.

(3) I once worked as a civilian analyst for the NZ Police. I support the police, and almost all NZ Police members are as honorable and willing to die for you as those you find in the USA.
Some of them are non-stop edging over the chance to be tyrants for a few months, though.

(4) I know people who have been visited by the police the morning after making a comment in a private facebook group, that I would have characterized as a throwaway line, at best. Even so, I am careful what I say online in NZ.
(5) So let me assure you that if the NZ Police do not now fairly & speedily investigate this bar for having such a tip jar visible in public, then there will be hell to pay from the conservative minority here.

(7) Part of me wants to encourage Americans to vacation in NZ, but I know you'll encounter bullshit like this, along with not even being able to sue for damages if our slack safety culture harms you or your family. We just killed 21 tourists with an active volcano, for example.
(8) It's ironic isn't it? American celebs who pledged to move to NZ if Trump were elected, never came. Not one of them. Guess they realized the US is a better place to live.

(9) Bar staff believing it's appropriate to have a tip jar like this one are clearly very dumb.

(10) See they're dumb to think no one at their bar would object to it. If I'd seen it, I would have quietly taken a photo then told the Police. Only to ensure the best chance of a charge being laid. Not because my name is actually Karen. And I'd have to ensure Police acted.
(11) I know from experience that the NZ Police would be unlikely to want to rock the boat where a threat is made against a conservative, while being nasty little fascists where a threat is made against a socialist. So I document things and follow them up.
