(7) I plan to enter the USA for tourism, not immigration, over the next while. When a country allows tourists to enter, there is almost always a net economic benefit to that country. A lot of jobs depend on it.

(8) There's a lot of talk about this latest immigration pause document, that it doesn't go far enough. If you actually read it you will see it's just one measure among many others. It's not going to fix everything, but it will make it easier for Americans to get or keep a job.
(9) I've observed the pandemic response in many countries, since January. Each country is different. Size, location, being federal vs unitary, industrial base, history, culture, and leadership make all the difference.
