Kusha said Boson Machines (BM) provided her with letter from a doc in LTMGH & LTMMC, Mumbai & claimed it to be approval for their face shield. This letter was meant to be letter of certification that face shield has passed the test/criteria. /2 
Issue with this letter is that subject doesn't mention anything about authenticity and only discusses about donation request. Main content of letter is misleading as well. It states what doc probably heard from BM. "This device of your company has been designed in ... /3

Upon Twitter conversation w/ Dr. Swapneil Parikh, alumnus of Jaslok Hospital, who said he collaborated w/ Boson Machines for gears production and devised face shields w/ their help. As per him, some doctors including himself tried it, no expert checks were done /5
Note that Dr. Parikh left Jaslok Hospital in 2017, and is in area of Internal Medicine. He said at time of pandemic, any help was better. They were in desperate need of face shield. Doctors in Jaslok and other colleagues contacted Dr Parikh for help. Dr. Parikh messaged out \6

Why is a doctor issuing such letter and in what capacity? Did doc verify all information content of the letter? Notice that wordings of letter are not professional (apart from tastes for tested), doc is informing co-founder about what co-founder probably claimed to doc. \9
A doc of Advanced Pediatrics Centre, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh issued letter stating that several PPE gears of BM are being regularly used in the Critical Care Unit of Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre. \10
However, this is not the case. Some docs in Jaslok Hospital as I understand possibly were in touch with BM only for face shield. Guidelines for PPE gears are strict, more so for masks and suits: mohfw.gov.in/pdf/Guidelines… Doc ordered PPE gears other than face shields from BM. \11

Letter by a Medical officer from Khan Bahadur Bhabha Hospital, Kurla, Mumbai goes further beyond to state face shield gears have been tested with critical care team at various institutes and Jaslok is one of them. This is not correct. \11
The ending of this letter also seeks favor in return for BM, "you scratched mine, I will scratch yours." Why was this letter issued? What is subject line of this letter?

.. how BM is using these letters from doctors to create more letters and platform for themselves in unethical way. Giving donation while asking monetary/profit making favors in return is not donation.

Also, information in said letters are misguided & misleading. As you see some of these are govt and some may be private. In which capacity are such letters being issued, why? Aren't doctors and healthworkers at risk due to callousness of some of their colleagues themselves? \15
Will those issuing letter hold themselves accountable? Can vouch for products of BM that they meet guidelines set by Union Health Ministry and ICMR? Why letters have common ending? Who dictated content of those letters? Isn't there let us scratch each other's back in letters \16

The range of price they charged is ₹120 to ₹60. Doesn't it stink? If @KushaKapila hadn't raised issue of price (w/ help from @thepeeinghuman), BM would have made huge profit and cheated motivation of crowd funding at time of pandemic, where we've less time to verify. \25
How can we take BM's word for granted when they say their products are to the mark? Which doctors approved it? Are doctors material researcher to know quality of material used in product? Are they qualified enough for testing of product and give clearance certificate? \26
Dr. Parikh mentioned that some doctors and not experts tested BM's face shield. Even if some products can be of quality, can't say that others won't fail. Remember kits sent by China to India, where some failed and others passed? It is required to know how products were made. \27
There's supposedly a letter by Dr. Parikh dated April 7, where he states of delivering 400/3400 face shields that were provided to him by BM. He mentioned he would be delivering rest in following days. Which other hospitals tried BM face shields before this campaign started? \28

Mass donations of visors to KIMS (Psychiatry ward?) & Kasturba H were from @KushaKapila's @ketto campaign (started March 25) in association w/ BM. Yet, Mr Pranchal and Dr Parikh concealed this info and delivered in name of Arjun Panchal, who asked hospitals for favor. ..\41
