So many in our province struggle with addictions, poverty, and other issues that impact our #mentalhealth.
Throw a pandemic on top of that, and we have more people than ever who are dealing with depression and anxiety.

It shouldn’t take a pandemic for Saskatchewan to start putting resources into #mentalhealth in our communities.
This week is CMHA Mental Health Week, and I’d like to ask you to do three things:

No 1: Please reach out to your friends and family, maybe to someone you haven’t spoken with in a while. It’s good for your #mentalhealth, and in the midst of so much stress and uncertainty, you don’t know what a difference it could make in the lives of the people you care about.
No 2: Please sign and share our petition for a Suicide Prevention Strategy for Saskatchewan, so communities can get the resources they need to deal with this ongoing crisis: saskndp.ca/suicideprevent…
No 3: Finally, if you or someone you know is struggling with #mentalhealth challenges, please reach out. You’re not alone. You can call the CMHA at 306-421-1871, or the SK 211 line. Both are free services that can connect you with support by phone, online, and in your community.
As we all adjust to this new normal, let’s think about what more we can do to reach out and support one another.
