1/Below is representation of earliest syllabic scripts used in continental #Greece & #Cyprus for pre-Greek& Greek languages. Both mainland Greece & Cyprus owe their first alphabets to Minoan #Crete & Linear A. Cypro-Minoan, modelled on it, represents yet undeciphered language(s)
2/Cypro-Minoan was named such by Sir Arthur Evans, who was behind Knossos excavations. He suspected a Minoan colony in Cyprus allowing scribal transmission to occur.
Cypro-Minoan led to Cypriot syllabary, which along with Linear B, are first scribal systems for writing Greek.
3/Cypriot syllabary was used for the Achaean type of Greek spoken by Cypriots until the latter part of 1st Millen BCE when Koine & Greek alphabet took hold.

Linguistically, it was close to the Mycenaean of Linear B. It had 55 syllabic letters, just a few less than Linear B
