Kerala (503 cases), which completed 100 days since reporting the country’s first case yesterday, now has 15 active cases. It has detected 5 cases in the last 7 days
Maharashtra has reported the highest increase in new cases in India since yesterday, at 1,089. This is the 3rd consecutive day it has reported >1,000 cases; TN has detected 600 new cases & >500 cases every day in the last 5 days
India has also reported 95 deaths of #COVID19 patients since yesterday. That’s 108 deaths on avg in 7 days past, up from 63 the week before. Maharashtra (731) & Gujarat (449) have reported most deaths, at 37 and 24, continuing to have the highest death toll
India has also reported 1,307 new recoveries since yesterday. That’s 1,217 on average in the last 5 days.
Rajasthan has reported the most recoveries in a single day thus far, at 320. It now has 1,562 active cases
