#THREAD: #WestBengal To Restart Skeleton Bus Service & Cabs shortly.

HERE IS THE PLAN:
Minimum bus service will be operated connecting nodal points of #Kolkata & adjoining areas for emergency purposes/frontline workers/migrant returnees who are travelling by roads or trains.

Per bus not more than 20 passengers will be allowed. Face mask will be mandatory for all travelling passengers.

FOR AAP CABS: Following passengers will be eligible:

•Frontline employees/service providers both govt and pvt sector
•Patients who have emergency or time bound treatment eg:dialysis.
•Persons engaged in emergency services as defined by govt orders.

#AppCabs may move within the Kolkata Metropolitan area i.e. administrative jurisdiction of #Kolkata Police, #Bidhannagar Police, #Barrackpore Police & #Howrah City Police Commissionerates. However, no entry to the containment areas would be permissible.

For #AppCabs: The Riders should obtain e-pass from online portal of respective police authority and will have to furnish the e-pass to the driver. The rider should carry authentic documents while travelling.

For #AppCabs: Only 2 passengers would be allowed in the back seat and none will be allowed to sit beside the driver.A movable protective transparent sheet will be in position between the driver and the rider.

For #AppCabs: The driver has to wear mask, gloves and face shield. He should provide hand sanitizers to the riders compulsorily before starting the ride.The riders should also wear mask and other safety equipment’s as may be applicable.

100 vehicle & driver details each from @Ola_Kolkata & @Uber have been submitted to @KolkataPolice and adjoining commissionerates where they will be allowed to operate. Copy also submitted to Transport Department.
