This is your periodic reminder that "the Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians, including family members of government officials, while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal."

Meet @hmousavian, a former Iranian ambassador now at @Princeton.
"Mousavian was Iran's amb to Germany back in the 1990s, when that embassy was the central node of Iran's European terror network & those in Germany were murdering dissidents in Berlin…"
freebeacon.com/national-secur…
“Mousavian, a former Iranian diplomat & head of its Nat Sec council, was hosted at the [Obama] White House at least three times” & “helped the WH craft its pro-Iran messaging & talking points that helped lead to the nuclear agreement with Iran.”

Mousavian’s jobs in the For Min, his ambassadorship to Germany between 1990-1997 & most important his position on Iran’s Nat Sec Council from 1997 to 2005—all came from his ties to Rafsanjani, the most powerful man in Iran when Khomeini died in 1989.

Meet @tparsi, founder of Iran’s DC-based lobby arm @NIACouncil.
His mission: encouraging engagement (read appeasement) vis-à-vis the mullahs’ regime through parroting @JZarif’s talking points.
Meet @NegarMortazavi, a NIAC alumnus/“journalist” known to push Iran’s talking points & disgraced among Iranians both inside the country & abroad for pushing Zarif’s talking points. She has very close relations to Zarif & interestingly with Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Listen to Mortazavi whitewash, justify & downgrade the crimes of the mullahs' regime.
Meet @AliVaez, a protégé of former Iranian president Ali Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Explainer: Iranian regime officials only take pictures alongside people whom they are absolutely certain of their undoubted loyalty.
Listen to Vaez push Iran’s talking points on CNN.
-Trump should reach out to Iran as Obama did
-provide concessions to the Iranian regime
-return to Obama’s nuclear deal
Meet @farnazfassihi, another known Iran apologist pushing Zarif’s talking points in The New York Times.
She actively portrays very positive images of the now dead Qassem Soleimani and Zarif in her NYT pieces.
Now let’s focus on @NIACouncil’s influence in the U.S. Congress.
Meet @mahyarsorour, Senior Legislative Assistant to @Ilhan.
Sorour was a candidate for NIAC Action's leadership board back in July.
Meet @ethanazad, a staff member of @RepRashida who handles a "broad legislative portfolio, helping Tlaib’s office on foreign affairs… and government oversight."
He is also quite fond of Iran’s IRGC, a designated terrorist organization.
Meet @samira_says, a permanent Legislative Assistant in the Office of @RepBarbaraLee. That could potentially give her (and the regime in Iran) access to U.S. citizens' data.
Meet @ManaKharrazi, a member of Iran’s lobby in Washington, who has very close relations with certain DC politicians.
For those interested the thread below sheds more light.
NIAC has established close relations with other members of Congress, including:
@ChrisMurphyCT
@RepDanKildee
@DonnaFEdwards

There are many more such individuals similar to those mentioned throughout this thread.
Listen to former Iranian spy chief Ali Fallahian vocally describe the regime’s use of “reporters” in foreign countries.
And this is former Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hamid-Reza Asefi shedding more light on the regime’s use of such operatives abroad.
Making a long story short, Iran took full advantage of Obama’s appeasement & had its apologists/lobbyists push the narrative of Obama providing endless concessions.
For starters, the U.S. should pursue a probe into Tehran’s lobby arm @NIACouncil.
