Today's story, er nightmare, is how Dr Frankenstein politicians in Arkansas are using #Covid19 as an excuse to put up barriers to access care. Their evil scheme- mandating patients test negative for covid in order to get an abortion.

You know, a COVID TEST, the thing it’s HARD AF to get now and especially if you have NO EFFING SYMPTOMS and just need to prove to your provider that you are safe to get your SAFE medical procedure!

The ACLU sued to block this rule, but a federal judge just upheld it! They say it’s not politically-motivated but considering that Arkansas already has a 72-hour waiting period in place WE BEG TO DIFFER! bit.ly/2Z08UUr

And look, we want people to be safe and we know that everyone’s trying to find ways to keep the virus from spreading! But for the people that need abortions getting one is URGENT. You can’t just wait until COVID is over to get one! wapo.st/2Ar8j3U

If we had a government or a world that fundamentally valued the right to choose, all of this would be considered. We’d LOVE to get testing available on demand with quick turnarounds! Until then, there’s gotta be a better solution than making access a Mission Impossible.
