1/ Thanks @tdotmcelwee for making me aware of this. What's interesting about the case against the Saudis involved in espionage in Twitter is that in the new filing it explicitly mentions that Zabarah accessed private Twitter data FROM a wireless network in the office of a guy
whose company was doing sketchy shit with social media. Previously it had read like AlZabarah was doing checks on the fly in Twitter head office. However he did much of this via VPN in Saudi. Before it seemed like maybe he wasn't documenting it or backing up the data, I am now 
convinced that the historic data of thousands of vulnerable Twitter users is in the hands of this Saudi company and the intelligence services, to consult as they please. Now that is disturbing. #espionage
One thing that puzzles me is that when Twitter discovered that AlZabarah had been accessing restricted data they put him on administrative leave. I wonder if they contacted the authorities immediately, surely it would seem probably that he was engaging in espionage?
Also why would Alzabarah file for a visa to return to the United States after fleeing... Seems unusual
The court filings on the Saudi Twitter espionage case also implicate other Twitter employees indirectly. They mention that one of the accused continued to ask Twitter employees to do favours on behalf of his Saudi employer for almost a year after he resigned. Needs to be explored
