I admire all the certainty people have that schools should or should not reopen. Sorry that I can't share it because to me it seems like a complex issue, where you can have sympathy for practically everyone involved.
Meanwhile this TfL / government deal seems pretty important to those of us living here. Congestion charge back next week, costs going up for kids and over-60s, the first signs of what may happen after the crisis?

Is this deal with TfL the first sign of what government policy will be towards local authorities short of money after the crisis? Raised fares, fewer exemptions... probably what councils are expecing, not likely to be locally popular.
