Al-Allamah Shaykh Abdul-Azeez Ibn Baz (Rahimahullah) was asked:

What is meant by the saying of the Prophet (SAW):
“Fasting, the day of fasting, and breaking fast, the day of breaking fast, and the day of sacrifice, the day of sacrifice?” (Saheeh Tirmidhi).

He answered:

Its meaning is clear, do not decide to fast alone without other people. If you see the crescent of Ramadan,
and the people refuse to take your words and they do not believe you, do not depend on your sighting, because the crescent is about people starting the fast of #Ramadan together and dropping it when they sight the crescent 🌙 of Shawwal also together.

Narrated Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

A lady along with her two daughters came to me asking (for some alms), BUT she found nothing with me except date-fruit which I gave to her and she divided it between her two daughters,
and did not eat anything herself, and
then she got up and went away.

Then the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) came in and I informed him about this story, to which he said:

"Whoever is put to trial by his/her daughters & he treats them generously (with benevolence) then
these daughters will act as a shield for him from Hell-Fire." (See Hadith No. 24, Vol. 8).

Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 499.

It might just be a coincidence that I didn't come across the tweets of nonchalants like this, & other attack dogs either from the red ballers or other densely ignorant ones attacking the personality of Shaykh @DrIsaPantami. Ordinarily they don't deserve a response.
However, putting some records clear, while the reasons for the attacks mostly are misunderstood to be political, we know that a lot of it is born out of destructive envy over a person who by Allah's might has achieved what most of them do not dream of achieving.
The insecurity in Nigeria no doubt is something that concerns every & many a times we do express our concerns & bitterness with the situation of things. As a student of Shaykh Pantami, of over 15 years, there was never a time we have idolized him or revered him beyond measures.

Due to the gamut of complications born out of diverse ethnographic backgrounds in the North, coupled with religious diversity, that point of incipient catastrophe widens, a fault line so many interest groups utilize for different mischievous reasons. Who benefits from it?
No doubt, politicians & elites alike may appear to be the highest beneficiaries of a factious populace, always at loggerheads with one another. This might not necessarily be the case, because this appear to be a selling point even some so-called religious clerics.
