Further evidence that #SARSCoV2 viral RNA can be detected for several weeks out in many types of samples, but this likely does not correlate w/ transmission potential or infection.
Have seen this clinically so many times- people have already had #covid19 and gotten better, & yet weeks later when they are presenting for something completely different, docs are checking #SARSCoV2 PCR again! And then scratching head when it’s positive...
