1) In GEORGIA v. TRAVIS MCMICHAEL & GREGORY MCMICHAEL, defendants are charged with murder & assault of #AhmaudArbery committed on February 23, 2020.

With the help of the Glynn County DA's office & white-owned media outlets, defendants have already aserted self-defense claims.
2) To claim self-defense for murdering #AhmaudArbery the McMichaels assert the right to affect a citizen's arrest upon two facts:

- An alleged burglary of a gun from a truck owned by one of the defendants

- One defendant claims he saw the victim at a house under construction
3A.)

Georgia Code of Criminal Procedure 17-4-60. Grounds for arrest (Citizen's arrest):

A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed IN HIS PRESENCE or WITHIN HIS IMMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE.
3B.)

Georgia Code of Criminal Procedure 17-4-60. Grounds for arrest (Citizen's arrest):
*Continued-

If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon REASONABLE and PROBABLE GROUNDS OF SUSPICION.
4) None of the defendants in the #AhmaudArbery murder case had a right to arrest Mr. Arbery since they did not see him committing any crime or acts that would raise reasonable and probable suspicion nor did they have any knowledge of such acts.
5) The only alleged burglary in the area was reported 53 days before Mr. Arbery was murdered and he was not reported as a suspect.

The owner of the property under construction where Mr. Arbery was reportedly seen on the day he was killed stated that nothing was stolen...
6) There is no law prohibiting construction site visits. Anyone experienced in renovations & new construction knows it is common for people not affiliated with the owner, contractor or realtor to visit sites under construction without being accused of trespass or any other crime.
7) #AhmadArbery reportedly attended South Georgia Technical Community College and studied plumbing which would reasonably spark his interest in construction, although this notion is not necessary to prove his innocence.
8)

Georgia Code of Crimes & Offenses Section 16-3-21. Use of force:

A person is not justified in using force...if he: Initially provokes the use of force against himself with the intent to use such force as an excuse to inflict bodily harm.
9A.)

Georgia Criminal Jury Instructions 3.02.12.
Doctrine of Reasonable Beliefs:

In applying the law of self-defense, a defendant is justified to kill another person in defense of self or others.
9B.) Georgia Criminal Jury Instructions 3.02.12. Doctrine of Reasonable Beliefs: *Continued-

The standard is whether the circumstances were such that they would excite (not merely the fears of the defendant but) the fears of a reasonable person.
9C.) Georgia Criminal Jury Instructions 3.02.12. Doctrine of Reasonable Beliefs: *Continued-

For the killing to be justified under the law, the accused must have really acted under the influence of those fears and not in the spirit of revenge.
10) The alleged facts of the #AhmaudAubrey murder case strongly suggest that Gregory & Travis McMichael initiated contact & violence against Mr. Arbery who was simply jogging for fitness in the Satilla Shores community.
11) The alleged facts of the #AhmaudAubrey killing further suggest that William "Roddie" Bryan, Jr. used his vehicle to block Mr. Aubrey from running in the opposite direction to escape the violent ambush by the McMichaels. Hence the charge of false imprisonment & felony muder.
12) As the aggressors, the McMichaels have no right to benefit from the claim of self-defense/ stand your ground. It appears the McMicheals premeditated an intentional murder and used the pretext of an alleged crime as an attempt to hide their criminal intent.
13) When the public scoffed at the McMichaels' claim of self-defense, white-owned media outlets immediately started a smear campaign against #AhmaudAubrey by using a past charge to portray him as a criminal deserving of murder, which was echoed by a biased D.A. George Barnhill.
14) When there is a homicide in the U.S., the alleged perpetrator is usually arrested immediately. The fact that Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael and William "Roddie" Bryan, Jr. were not arrested the day of the murder is highly suspicious and warrants serious investigation.
15) After reports surfaced that Glynn County police called the office of Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney Jackie Johnson to ask whether to arrest Travis & Gregory McMichael, she reportedly blamed police for delaying arrests. #AhmaudAubrey

16) Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney Jackie L. Johnson recused herself from the #AhmadArbery murder case.

See her Facebook post below.

17) Waycross Judicial District Circuit D.A. George Barnhill wrote to the GA Attorney General that, "We do not see grounds for an arrest of any of the 3 parties" as the McMichaels & William Bryan, Jr. were in "hot pursuit of a burglary suspect, with solid 1st hand probable cause."
*Correction: Between January and February 2020, the only burglary allegeded to have been officially reported to police from Brunswick, GA was of a gun taken from an unlocked truck owned by one of the McMichaels.
18) D.A. George Barnhill claimed Travis & Gregory McMichael were justified in murdering #AhmaudAubrey then later recused himself. GA Attorney General Chris Carr assigned the case to Liberty County D.A. Tom Durden who accepted then later asked to be removed for lack of resources.
19) Cobb County District Attorney Joyette Holmes is the 4th prosecutor assigned to the #AhmaudAubrey murder case. With this many changes, and the local police continuously being mandated to refrain from speaking publicly about the case, one has to wonder if there is a cover up...
