Physical distancing is a joke. What is the point in making these workers run in circles before and after the journey for medical tests if they are going to be exposed to serious risk on their much-played journeys? Most of these workers have been herded at a few hours notice. 5/8

By acting arbitrarily when he chose to act, after sleeping at the wheel for more than 2 months #PiGo has mocked the entire purpose of the lockdown. After keeping desperately poor migrant families locked in, w/o jobs, wages and housing, he suddenly starts running trains. 7/8
Not even pretence of coordination with States. This entire crisis is of his making. Of course, #AmSha , the chief coordinator of the lockdown bears responsibility for presiding over this Tughlaqian tragedy during the biggest wave of migration in India since Partition. 8/8
