Then there’s the tactic, which is apparent in a lot of these and other ROIs I’ve seen over the years, of interviewing fellow officers of the accused and saying they all denied the allegations, but not confronting them with the accused’s confession. Sort of messes up the BWOS,guys

After they put the cops on trial and they were acquitted, apparently they went after a witness who they said lied.

Here’s an officer who was convicted of assaulting a person in the San Ysidro POE by ::checks notes:: putting his hands around his neck and strangling him for a brief period.

The officer was indicted and took a veterans diversionary program. They let him retire before pleading

“I’m the supervisor here, when I tell you to shut the fuck up, you shut the fuck up.” Then he went and tried to strangle someone.

The part of this that stands out to me most is that the officers who arrested this guy let him change out of his uniform before taking him to jail.
