1. Increase your protein intake.

Eating more protein keeps you fuller for longer.

Lean proteins you can add to your diet: white-fleshed fish, beans, peas, lentils, chicken or turkey breast & cottage cheese.

2. Exercise indoors as much as you can. There are plenty of exercises you can do indoors this winter. As it gets colder all you will need is drop the blankets a bit & exercise for about 30 minutes, three times a week

Try to also move out your Am session to PMs if you can

3. Eat fresh foods and vegetables – avoid processed foods
Many people take it easy in winter and don’t cook or have takeaways. Remember the number one enemy of a healthy diet is processed foods.

[3]
4. Get warm by sipping on teas and warm water.
When it gets colder our bodies feel like it doesn’t need more water. This is not true as it will lead to dehydration without us realizing it.

Keep drinking water.

5. Eat a low-calorie soup before meals.

According to research eating a low-calorie soup before you eat could keep you from overeating, which results in appetite control. The study showed that people who ate soup before lunch reduced their total calorie intake by 20%

We will continue doing the May Workout Challenge if you need workout tips...the aim is to stay active for at least 30 minutes x4-5 a week.

Let's smash this winter!!!
