About 120 – 150 insurgents, attacked the town with vehicles, including captured YangJin YJ2080C Defender Protected Assault Vehicle - A 4x4 vehicle equipped with a W85 heavy machine gun (12.7 x 108mm). The #FADM military was overwhelmed and forced to withdraw.

Latest: The insurgents are still present in the areas around Macomia (Macomia Sede, Songeia, Machocva and Bangala II). Many Macomia residents are still hiding and sleeping in the bushes around Macomia since attacks on Thursday and despite the GSF component deployed there.
