Pre-civil war, whites owned black people FFS! But post-Emancipation, Black Americans were never given a fair shake... and for generations, ownership has eluded blacks, compounding the gap.
but don't just hire Black partners.
Invest in Black entrepreneurs and Black-OWNED businesses...
but dont just use Black talent to line up your white owners' pockets, create path for more Black OWNERS.
(& yes that means Black coaches, GMs, Presidents).
You cant call it Affirmative Action when it's the talent!
but dont just hire Black creatives, advertise with Black-owned media companies (& not just units of White-owned media companies' brands serving Black community, such as @ViacomCBS 's @BET). I mean da original BETs!
