Atlantic Magazine, New Yorker, the Guardian, US News, AOL, NPR, ABC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, AP, CREW, LAWFARE and on and on. THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO #ImpeachTrump for a deep barrel of crimes.
In my mind, his most recent attempt to command the military to DOMINATE the protesters

is the most disturbing, in that he was, in fact, marshalling the US Armed Forced against our own people. THAT. IS. EXACTLY. WHAT. HITLER. DID. On his final sweep to power. He eliminated dissent by raining terror down on people, savagely beating and even killing, with no

consequences. He controlled the courts, burned the legislature, took command of the military. Ruled all with fear of dismissal or even death. He was the supreme leader. Flooded the public with propaganda - calling the press Fake News.

Ask yourself what Trump has NOT done yet? Courts: check. Senate: check. Military: Commander in Chief. Press: discredited as fake and corrupt. Oversight: eliminated. CDC, HHS, DHS, IBP, ICE: muffled. Defacto leader of countless right wing militias ready to overthrow the

government. They act on his every word. He is their chosen one.
Bottom line is that Trump was days away from declaring martial law. He had all the firepower he needed in waiting. Were it not for Sec. Esper, and several retired military brass, he would have succeeded. The only

obstacle would be for Secdef and the generals to refuse his orders to attack the citizens. Hitler would have taken care of that my murdering them, one after another, until he got compliance. Trump could have just removed them until he found a sycophant. HE WOULD HAVE, TOO.

WE ALL KNOW THAT, because he has done it dozens of times already.
Barely dodging his first strike at absolute power does not mean he won't try again. He has the full strength and financial power of the US government. He can declare emergency powers, go around the Congress, take

money from other pots, extort governors, and stop the supply of goods. HE HAS DONE ALL OF THE ABOVE.

To not take action to remove him in Congress is to abandon their oath of office to protect the nation from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The Cabinet has the power to

remove him for 30 days, and Congress can make it permanent with 2/3 majority in both Houses. That could happen in a week. Impeachment is the other route, months long, but hearings would expose the insidious corruption of Trump, Inc. Collusion with foreign powers, extortion,

bribery, money laundering, profiteering, making decisions with deep National Security implications for person favors and profits, in Turkey, Syria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, Ukraine and other nations. Creation of a private intelligence service and strike team answering

only to Trump, Pompeo and Barr. And so much more. HE MUST ANSWER FOR HIS ATROCITIES, and it needs to be in public. The evidence is overwhelming, and indisputable. His public support would collapse, and he would be drummed out of office.
QUESTION: WHY WAIT? Get him out before he

makes a successful grab for absolute power, or simply cheats the election, or if he loses, contest the election all the way to the Supreme Court. The future of our democracy is at stake.
