2. So Janet Reno assigned a major crimes prosecutor supervisor to be on duty 24/7 with a beeper. It rotated. They gave them pistols to carry into the murder scene. Armed lawyers. So when there was a police shooting meaning a police officer shoots a citizen or a citizen shoots
3. an officer, the duty prosecutor rushed to the scene and took control, secured the evidence took the initial statements. The quality of the forensics improved drastically and the cases stayed winnable free from the public perception of a thumb on the the scales of justice
4. that had been the Miami black communities' perception in the past. #LawyersWithGuns.
