1/Let's talk about suicide. Now I don't know all the whys and reasons why many would rather commit suicide, but I do know this; you can be surrounded by lots of people, have a contact list long as your arm, a followers/fans list of hundreds of thousands, but yet feel lonely. Why?
2/Because even though you're not alone, you are very lonely. Locked away with your thoughts and feelings because others can't be bothered to even spend a minute listening to you without accusing you of complaining. What if you do? Sometimes that's what it seems like, but not so
/3 Maybe it's the only way you can literally say how you feel. Or at times you just want to show others a different perspective, but they feel that you either don't understand or you are crazy for even having an opinion. So you shut up and shut down and stay in your lane.
/4 Does that helps? No because you feel so judged and inadequate because no one really understands, that's when you start to whisper "maybe the world would be better off without me" and you actually come to believe it too when you see no one really cares or wish to be bothered
/5 Granted we all have our own nagging issues, correct? So why would be bothered by someone's else? Because it takes away nothing to listen without judging even if you've heard the same story endless times. A kind word, a listening ear is all some need just to make it another day
6/It's already a cruel world out there why add to It? Why not seek to understand instead of judging. Why wait until it's too late and then ask why didn't the person seek help or speak with someone? Hello are you listening? They tried to and got brushed off and none would listen
7/So much tears gets shed when you realize that you have literally no one to share what you're thinking and feeling and it hurts. That's a pain unlike no other. So today if someone reaches out to you, STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING and listen. Tell them you care, you are there for them
8/ Let them know that you care. In this "new normal" many are hurting. Be kind, show love, listen, really LISTEN. Reach out and tell someone you love them that you are there if they need you anytime. Don't wait for tomorrow, today is a gift that's why it's called the present 🤗💕
