Some of these foods do actually come with a lot of health benefits.
They're 'healthy'.
But they're not going to help you to get to 10% body fat, because:
They're too CALORIE-DENSE.
Look out for these:
Nuts are a classic example of something that technically has healthy fats, but in reality they're WAY too easy to overdo.
Salted or not.
Getting the balance even slightly off with these, is enough to knock you out of a calorie deficit.
Bread is pretty much 'fake food'.
Very little nutrition in it, very little satiation, and it disrupts most people's digestive systems.
Not only is it insanely calorie-dense, but it's also an estrogenic nightmare.
Stay away.
If you're going to drink at all (not recommended if you're looking to get into elite physical condition), stick to red wine or whiskey.
Here's another one that can have some benefits.
But it's just not worth it due to the calorie density.
You're better off sticking to the fundamentals like eggs, meat and veggies.
A lot of people recommend honey as a 'healthy sweetener'.
But I think a lot of people are going to overdo it (it's liquid), and it'll set them off onto other things.
If you're overweight, don't be looking to sweeten ANYTHING.
Black coffee.
INCREDIBLY calorie-dense, and way too easy to overdo.
Not only are they easier to consume texturally, but they also taste nicer than 'normal nuts'.
Stick to eggs.
Cereal is just crunchy sugar.
Avoid.
If you want the most horrific combination of all, have a 'healthy breakfast to power your day™' by combining
OJ + Cereal
Lovely stuff.
(If you're aiming for 30%+ body fat.)
Once again, there's virtually zero satiation from liquid calories, so they're utterly unhelpful when you're trying to reach elite conditioning.
Juices. Smoothies.
Anything like that, is a negative.
Only exception is protein shakes with water.
This one will.
I give you the foods you SHOULD be focusing on, so you can get leaner in less time.
And it's all tailored to fit your needs:
