But we don’t need a royal commission, we all know what went wrong, we watched it unfold. Everyone l was telling gov this was wrong & hurting ppl, they failed to act.
It was arrogance, incompetence, over reliance of bureaucrats..

@Richard_D_Boyle & @4corners disclosure, stopped @ato_gov_au & saved lives + prevented suicides - but Richard now faces 162 yrs jail for doing so

@JaneCaro & @vanOnselenP are right, but how could ppl hold gov to account & prevented deaths without risking same as Richard? 3/7

@markdreyfusQCMP @Senator_Patrick @Senator_Patrick as per cc into my letter @cporterwa ; this is core issue with prosecuting @Richard_D_Boyle - he knew actions of @ato_gov_au would hurt ppl & risk suicides. Without a public interest reason to prosecute, its gov retribution 4/7

& being done as warning to others not to speak out about gov wrong doing, don’t go to media & don’t try & hold gov to account or - risk the same.
Staff would of known #robodebt was wrong, but too scared to speak out- lives could of been saved....!. 5/7

Royal Commissions are retrospect, by then damage is done. We could all see robodebt was wrong but there was no effective mechanism to protect ppl to make public, the evidence required to stop it
Public interest disclosure laws must be URGENTLY overhauled in state & fed gov .. 6/7

to stop this occurring again as EXACT SAME is happening daily all over Oz; PID ignored, bullying & threats using police, courts etc silencing/scaring ppl & risking deaths.
I’ve seen it with my own eyes in high profile WA #Oshin Kiszko & QLD Kaitlyn #Spraggon cases

And I know people get threatened with criminal charges when making disclosures re corrupt conduct & reprisals - because exact same happened to me, with Qld CCC first starting “not enough evidence ....” then threatening to charge us when we sent the evidence!
