1) This tweet series exposes 16 cases of #antiHinduism at @TheEconomist. Articles provide disparaging description of Hinduism & Hindus. They are filled with false allegations which are repeated even after they are proven wrong beyond reasonable doubt.
2)@theeconomist Bitter Fruit, Aug 2008:
Article states “pilgrims see (Amarnath) as a phallic symbol of the god Shiva” but that is not true. Encyclopedias state that phallic representation of Shiva is western interpretation. Trying to pass off western belief as hindu is dishonest.
3) @theeconomist Bitter Fruit, Aug 2008:
Article on kashmir describes relatively peaceful hindu protester as “Militant” and aggressive muslim protester as “Protester”.
4) @theeconomist “An uphill walk”, Sept 2012:
Amarnath pilgrimage is called “INVASION”.
5) @theeconomist “Kashmir’s future: Fleeting Chance”, July 2011;”An uphill walk”, Sept 2012:
Amarnath shrine called “penis-shaped lump of ice”. Articles omit hindu pandit genocide and amarnath pilgrim massacres.
6)@theeconomist Shaking the mountains,Dec 2010:
Article states "Amarnath pilgrims are unmolested" but that is false. Amarnath pilgrims were massacred on several occasions ( eg. 34 pilgrims murdered by in Aug 2000). India banned Pilgrimage & denied #religiousfreedom due to #terror
7) @theeconomist “The Hindu rate of self-deprecation”, April 2011:
The title itself is #antihindu. Both, red tape and corruption, are legacy of Nehruvian Socialism and has nothing to do with Hinduism. Economist brazenly shields Nehruvian Socialism and blames Hindus with impunity.
8) @theeconomist In search of a dream,Sep2012; Now finish the job,Apr2012:
Economist refers to India’s socialist era GDP growth as “Hindu rate of growth”. Both, India & Cuba, are "socialist secular republic". Is Cuba's poor GDP growth rate "Catholic rate of growth"?
9) @theeconomist “The Swami’s Curse”, June 2011:
Article indirectly describes Ayurveda and Yoga as quack cures. I am neither a follower of Baba Ramdev nor a supporter of Lokpal movement but I was shocked by the tone, tenure, foul language & propagation of #antiHindu prejudice.
10) Silent on hindu genocide 1:
@theeconomist has many articles on Kashmir &
they almost always omits “The P Word” (i.e., indirectly deny/downplay Hindu Pandit Plight). Only once “The P Word” was reluctantly mentioned.
11) Silent on hindu genocide 2:
In 2012, @theeconomist has many articles on Bangladesh war crime trials. Most articles condemn the war crime trial, attack the evidence, and question eyewitness account. Biased articles deny/downplay 1971 Hindu Genocide & 2012 attacks on Hindus.
12) @theeconomist has printed many biased & false claims articles about Ayodhya. E.g,The uneasy split;oct 2010 states that “there is no archaeological evidence to support either belief” but that was not true in 2010. Final judgement proves all those articles wrong.
12) Cannot resist hindu bashing:
@TheEconomist “The rights approach”, March 2010:
This is a nice article about RTI act which has nothing to do with Hinduism but nevertheless slips into Hindu bashing.
13) @theeconomist “Witchcraft in Assam Toil and trouble”, April 2012:
Article touts superiority and rationality of Islam and Christianity, dismisses native beliefs as superstition, and omits social reforms carried out by Hindu organisation like Rama-Krishna mission.
14) @theeconomist Shadow of a darker decade, Aug 2012:
Article justifies islamist violence based on bogus accusations & fake chronology which omits Radhabai chawl hindu massacre.
15) @theeconomist Bleak House, March 2012:
The title is borrowed from Charles Dickens whose racial views are well known. Article pushes accident conspiracy theory, blames Hindu victim of Godhra massacre, suggests that nearly nil Hindus died in subsequent riots(actual count 254+)
16) @TheEconomist Affirmative Action”, June 2013:
Article makes many false claims:
-Muslims don't have quota
-OBC belonging to hindu caste get quota

Fact is OBC & ST quota is secular & includes all religion. Article is silent on India's #antiHindu system:
17) @theeconomist Religious festivals & violence,Aug9th, 2013:
Author wrote "In India..Hindu festivals can be a time of fear for Muslims..." but exact opposite is true. Hindu festivals & pilgrims are prime target of terrorist. 66% of religious massacres are hindu massacres.
