Why You Should Never Write Long Copies Again

I know...

I know this sounds crazy...

And goes against every single thing you've learned so far.

Well my friend, I'm about to debunk all those lies.

They say:

"Long copy sells"
"5000 words does the magic...blah blah blah"

The...
truth is, you don't need all the word in the English lexicon to pass your message across.

You only need ENOUGH words to do that.

And I'm going to show you exactly what I mean...

Before the end of this short thread, you'll learn how to craft killer copies without writing an
entire Bible.

That said...we move.

So let's say you just got a writing Gig at MTN and you are expected to craft a nice compelling sales message...

Selling one of their latest product offers to an audience list of loyal customers—who have bought multiple products from the
brand.

Are you going to write a 20-page sales letter?

Or a short message that lays out the offer in just a one-page SMS?

Now whatever your answer is, write it down... we'll get back to it at the end of the thread.

Okay... here's the second scenario.

Let's say you got...
another writing gig at this same company and you're expected to write a sales message to their customer list...

But this time you're writing to a group of persons who have NEVER heard about network services...

and just learned about cellphones about a month ago.

So are you...
going to give them a one-page offer sales message?

Or are you going to pull out all the words in your word-arsenal in order to close the sale?

If you choose the second options in the two scenarios, you're ABSOLUTELY right!

You see...

I actually feel the phrase "long
copy" is kinda abused.

The number of words you use in a copy depends on your customer's awareness levels and market sophistication.

You don't need to write a 50page sales letter to sell a Rolls-Royce to Hushpuppi.

And you can't sell an iPhone to a village school teacher with a
30-word SMS (extreme example...but you get it).

This just points to one direction:

A 30-word sales message that sells to the right audience, at the right market sophistication level is LONG ENOUGH.

And that's it!!!

P.S: Did you miss me? I missed me too. I'm back now...and👇🏾
hope I don't leave again.

Talk later!!!

P.P.S: I know it's the 3rd day...and this prolly sounds dumb...but, you've not heard from me.

So act like it's still the first.

HAPPY NEW MONTH FAM.🙂

You're welcome.
