4/Most of the conversation around financial crises in the coming decade focuses on our growing national debt. Yet, a key determinant of how this and past crises have played out has been the amount of private debt. 
5/Private debt currently sits at 150% of GDP. Coupled to growing public (federal) debt we are approaching a total debt load of 300% of GDP. A future thread will explore this in more detail but suffice to say the US is in uncharted territory.
6/The private debt load gives Federal Reserve little room to operate. It will not allow private debt to reset (as in the 1930s) and will be forced to grow public debt to backstop the private sector.
7/This will lead to greater inflation in housing, stocks, healthcare and goods/services that are less attainable due to local and global supply chain shocks. Trade and oil/energy wars will compound price shocks.
8/As govt’s around the world engage in a printing binge it supplies them with the means to exert deeper and broader political control. This move against citizens will induce social confusion and uncertainty. This is the fog of war. Recognize it & adapt:
9/We are in the midst of a global transformation. And during the next decade it will be vitally important to ground yourself and cultivate a single minded purpose: survive.
10/Find your guidepost. What principles can you repeatedly fall back on that confirm truth against the false world around you?
For me it is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is immutable & verifiable. Bitcoin is a safe haven, the springboard to self-education, a manual of self-preservation.
