Just when I thought my hatred of the @Conservatives was at its peak, I try to book a #COVID home testing kit for my elderly and poorly Dad. He's generally not in the best of health, but we manage. Recently though he's been experiencing symptoms consistent with #coronavirus 1/
The final step, after providing DOB, NI Number, Address and all the other standard ID confirming data, is this...something I thought looked extremely suspect, so I did some digging... 2/ 
What POSSIBLE reason could there be for the UK government to make it a requirement that you share your data with an American credit reporting agency @TransUnion in order to be able to access vital medical testing support in the middle of a pandemic?

A little further digging suggests that you can quite easily be refused the test if you don't pass whatever spurious check this private sector conglomerate carries out...

I'm not contributing my Dads data to whatever shady deal is taking place here, but that choice means more stress and risk. My Dad has limited mobility and no car; so we will mask / glove / sanitize up and drive him to a testing site. 6/

However, what about people like my Dad that don't have have care givers in their lives? What about vulnerable people that need a test because the heinous, capitalist, plutocratic hell-scape we currently call society demands it of them before providing any kind of support? 7/
