First stick the oven on at 204c (400f) to preheat.

Take your beets, the fresher the better, using a pair of scissors cut the tops & bottoms off, be careful as they do start leaking dye straight away 😊 (don’t throw the greens, they can be used in stir fries) 🤓
Do not peel the beets! Unless you like mess 🤣 Give them a good scrub under the tap then put them straight onto foil without drying them, the recipe says to season but I like things to taste of what they’re supposed to taste of 🙄 so I’ve just drizzled them with olive oil 😊
One recipe says they take 50 mins & to check them after 20 mins to see if they need more moisture, another says to use olive oil & just cook them for 1 hour 🤔 I’ll probably have a quick check on them half way through 😊 Volcano & canna cappuccino time 😁
Well they’ve had just over 50 minutes & I recon they’re ready, stuck a knife in & it feels cooked through, it’s also easy to peal once it’s cooked 😊
Now that is tasty! 😋 much easier & less messy than expected too! Will definitely be growing beets again! 😊
