Best estimate of US current seroprevalence, even with current surge in cases, is ~6%, similar to Spain, with marked geographic heterogeneity (Madrid >10%, NYC 19%).

There are at least 16 companies working on a rapid #SARSCoV2 home/point-of-care test. But the master innovator, @PrakashLab, has come up with a $1/test, $5 hardware, hand-powered solution "Handyfuge"

This is totally unacceptable; it requires long overdue aggressive action instead of what can largely be characterized as late, chaotic unreadiness and stupidity
I don't know about you, bit I'm sickened and horrified by the new records set each day for American covid cases.
July 3rd >56,500, and more than doubled in < 2 weeks
(@washingtonpost graph) amidst modest measures, at best, to mitigate this dire predicament
As @tomaspueyo shows we are well on our way to >100,000 cases per day. He points out *total* cases in Wuhan were ~50,000. So we will get to 2 Wuhan units per day if nothing drastic is done to arrest/slow the spread
