Jason Kenney and the UCP have launched a blatant attack on working people.

While profitable corporations and their CEOs make off with billions of dollars thanks to Jason Kenney, everyday working people can’t catch a break.

Bill 32 now allows employers to cancel averaging agreements and impose averaging arrangements on employees.

Put simply, it puts more power in the hands of your boss, and takes power away from you.

It’s no longer an agreement, your boss can now impose an “arrangement” that doesn’t even require your input.

The changes also mean there is no need to limit your hours to 12 hours per day or 44 hours per week

To be clear, your boss can impose a situation on you that requires you to work MORE than 44 hrs/wk, & they are NOT required to pay you overtime.

And there’s nothing you can do. This bill doesn't allow you to raise your concerns with the employment standards board.

Not only are you now subject to working whatever hours your boss wants, without being fairly paid.

This bill also makes it easier for your boss to fire you.

It gives them more time to pay out your wages if you are terminated, or leave for your own reasons.

In this bill, Jason Kenney is undermining the right of Albertans to join unions, and he is undermining your right to speak out against the government.

The UCP are taking $100 million off the backs of everyday working Albertans, and handing it right over to wealthy CEOs and profitable corporations.
