.@terrycrews the violence in Chicago has nothing to do with #BlackLivesMatter. That violence is a direct result of years of systematic racism that has denied educational, job opportunities to black people. It's compounded by decades of political corruption on all sides. 1️⃣
Corrupt white people have held power for too long. Good white folks decided it was best to mind their business & keep their heads down. Most back folks who made it out left because once you become a parent it's about only protecting your children. There are two Americas. 2️⃣
You sir now live among the privilege and the fear of losing potential opportunities terrifies you. I get it. The movement is about teaching everyone to get involved, and we are focus on forcing change by reeducating the racist that live among us. Police brutality is real 3️⃣
Not just for blacks, whites get arrested and black folks get killed. White folks get 6 months and for the same crime and same record, black folks get 5 to 30 years. This is about equality. Do you and all the judges on talent get an equal salary? Or do you make less? Mmm 4️⃣
This isn't about black superiority, it's equality that we are still fighting for. Most people don't even know Chicago was founded by a black man, a Haitian man. The United States schools don't teach Haitian history. The idea that black people could be equal terrifies folks 5️⃣
Watch an old #eddymurphy classic trading places, and see my pinned tweet. #BlackLivesMatter is not like Deebos character on Friday (Lister was scary) no need to be afraid. Stop being Latrell. All love, let's talk 6️⃣
