1. I previously analyzed the Super Hornets on USS Eisenhower #CVN69 in the Arabian sea twice (April 2nd and June 12th).
Here I do the same on USS Ronald Reagan #CVN76 on July 3rd passing San Bernardino strait and USS Nimitz #CVN68 on July 6th in the south China sea.

2. The pictures are less visible than IKE's. But on USS Ronald Reagan, I can see out of 33
3 Growlers
1 five wet tanker
7 Super Hornets armed with 1 Sidewinder
No visible AMRAAM or Maverick. 2

3. USS Nimitz #CVN68 on July 6th in the south China sea has at least 11 Rhinos armed with 1 Sidewinder including one with 2 Sidewinders.

4. Obviously a single picture can not make a complete comparison. But clearly Reagan and Nimitz level of readiness even in the south China sea is not close to IKE 👇, meaning #USNavy expects much more to confront Iran compared to China.

5. One important point on AIM-9X capability is that it can target fast moving boats which are used by both Iran and China. It was first tested by a #USAF F-16C on Sept. 23 2009, sinking a rapidly moving target boat in the Gulf of Mexico.
