3/ ** includes Model Y for 2020. Without that, figures would be worse. Base for Q1 is very low in the US due to 2019 Q1 demand pulled forward to 2018 Q4 because of FIT credit phaseout.

4/ ***, ****: includes the UK, Ireland and Eastern Europe. Without these (so same store sales), Q1 would be -21%, Q2 -56%. Further, 19Q1 was a partial quarter only in Europe, 20Q1 was a full quarter.

5/ The only regions that could grow were new markets: UK, Ireland and Eastern Europe, China MIC, and to a smaller extent, new APAC markets like South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and UAE. Only exception in Q1 was Canada.

6/ COVID isn't an excuse. In Europe in Q1, the BEV market grew by 68.4% (and PHEV by 161.7%). Q2 was similar.

China is messed up by subsidy changes, but that's the only place where Tesla excels, possibly by fulfilling initial demand for MIC only.
