If you aren’t disabled, and think ableism doesn’t affect you, consider the time you felt totally burned out at work in a way that put your well-being at risk. Consider the time you realized that you could easily be replaced with someone who would “do the work” if you couldn’t.
Ableism is a scourge on people who have bodies. We weren’t designed to work endlessly in an obsession of productivity or capital gain. America needs a system that values HUMAN-WELL-BEING over PRODUCTION. We will all win when we dismantle ableism. P.s. in case it needs to be said,
