And just like that, my success record suffered a huge blow from the MCCQE2. I was mentally traumatized even as my body went through the physical trauma of birthing my second baby a few days Image
later.

I was happy I had a new baby and in my heart, I kept the faith that my score recheck would give me positive news. I prayed and gave thanks in anticipation of a miracle.

Fast forward to about a month later, the Medical Council replied that we regret that we cannot give
you more favorable news. We hope that you will not become discouraged by these results, but that you identify your strengths and weaknesses and prepare yourself accordingly.

That broke me! All hope was lost as the result was confirmed as mine. I started to think- What did I do
wrong? What can I do better?

The fact that Canadian medical residents also participate in the MCCQE2 made me even more terrified. I had only attempted the exam bolstered by my success in previous exams and new self-confidence.

With this failure, all the confidence I had amassed
from passing about 7 medical exams melted away like wax. My confidence shrank and relapsed to the level it was when I was a medical student. The fact I did not know what to do to pass in my next attempt drove me further into a state of hopelessness. Despite how hard I cracked my
brain, I still could not come up with any solution. My appetite for food disappeared and on most days, tears streamed down my face.

My family cheered me on as best as they could, but the cloud of gloom that hovered over me did not let up. That failure in my MCCQE2 set the
precedent for more failure as I went on to fail another exam. At this point, I could say, I was on a FAILURE ROLL!!! I began to dread medical exams. Faith and confidence flew out of the window. I realized you actually do get what you deserve in an exam. To be continued.

Fact! Shea butter can make your skin dark.

The reason is that shea butter has a lot of oils in it, so rubbing it and going out in the sun would definitely make you darker (tan) especially if you live in the tropics or in summer. Image
Some suggestions if you want to try shea butter:

1. Rub little shea butter so that your skin can still breathe especially on the face.

2. Clean your skin of make-up, so as to have a clean skin before using shea butter.
3. Use shea butter at night and wash it off in the morning before going out.
