Fact! Shea butter can make your skin dark.

The reason is that shea butter has a lot of oils in it, so rubbing it and going out in the sun would definitely make you darker (tan) especially if you live in the tropics or in summer. Image Some suggestions if you want to try shea butter:

1. Rub little shea butter so that your skin can still breathe especially on the face.

2. Clean your skin of make-up, so as to have a clean skin before using shea butter.

Do you have acne or know someone with acne, these tips can help improve their acne.

Please retweet for awareness.

1. Be gentle with your skin.
Even though your face looks rough or oily, it still needs tender care. Stay away from harsh scrubs that can irritate your skin. 5 things you should never put on your face

1. Bar soap

Regular" soap, or bar soap, actually strips your skin of essential nutrients. This is because most bar soap utilizes chemicals that are both tough on the skin and unnatural. The result is rough, dry, and itchy [skin]. Image 2. Body lotion
Doing this once in a while is okay but continued use of body lotion on the face can lead to blocked pores. Blocked pores lead to acne and blemishes.

I got a lot of interest in the post about sunscreen yesterday and I'll consider it's a good sign we are all ready to take sunscreen use seriously.

So before you hop off to cop yourself a bottle of sunscreen, let's delve in and understand what sunscreen is all about. Keloids

What is a keloid?

A keloid is a scar that grows bigger and wider than the original injury.

A keloid scar is often harmless, do not become cancer, but sometimes can cause severe itchiness and pain.

Do have a mole or know someone that has a mole?

Let's discuss what a mole is and the changes to watch out for in a mole.

Moles aka melanocytic nevus are caused when pigment-producing cells in the skin (melanocytes) grow in clusters or clumps to form small, colored spots on the Image skin.

A mole is usually nothing to worry about unless it changes size, shape, or color. Moreover, anyone can have a mole including babies, children, and teenagers.

But as harmless as a mole could be, you need to watch it because it could change with time.

The right way to wash your face

Procedure:

1. Use a mild gentle cleanser that doesn’t dry out your face. Avoid ingredients like isopropyl alcohol, antibacterial, deodorant soaps, or retinoids unless you have acne. Image 2. Dampen your face with lukewarm water (not hot!) and use the tips of your fingers to massage the cleaner into your face. Your fingertips apply the perfect amount of pressure; stay away from using anything else to scrub the face that can irritate your skin.
