Dear @AndreaHorwath - Since becoming the official opposition party to Doug "We have no money for disabled" Ford you have sent Exactly 8 tweets that uses the terms disability / disabled / disabilities / odsp. Of those 8 tweets only 3 have been sent since the Covid Lockdown 1/11

In total, as far as can find there is only record of you sending 13 tweets since 2013 with any of those keywords.

0 discuss the poverty in which they find themselves FORCED into through no fault of their own.

It is bad enough having to deal with Ford stating publicly
on or around May 15th that there is sadly no money to help people on odsp (beyond the pathetic $100 short term bump that takes the people to 35% below poverty instead of 40%)

THEN buy a natural gas plant (3/11)

THEN announce highway expansions
THEN announce Subway expansions

but then to have him go back on TV, and say on May 22nd
That he "feels for those people and we're gonna help them.. anyway we can" ("Those..People.." being Ontario Citizens who have to use ODSP) (4/11)

oh, one can point to all the humiliating food banks that he goes and takes photo ops at like such a big man carrying food in that ultimately is another discriminatory act towards disabled people.

Disabled people should receive a livable income (5/11)

They are 40% below poverty, Rent is going up.
Food is going up.
Medical costs are going up.
transportation is more difficult.

Never once have you mentioned how single / married, living at home ODSP clients not in a group home, are in a pitch battle for their very existence.

I've seen 5 people talking about ending their existence on this PLANET because they can't take eating 1 or less meals per day anymore, knowing their going to be homeless any day now because rent is going above their $1169

ODSP clients don't have the means to take action. (9/11)

Can you take action ?
Can you file a lawsuit on behalf of the 14% of citizens in your jurisdiction who can not take action for themselves ?

Can you file with Human rights commissions ?
Can you Write PM & ask for a federal disability support plan to replace ODSP? 10/11

Can you send just a daily tweet in the #ODSP hashtag that says "You matter to me, and I will fight for your right to exist"
Because a LOT of people in there REALLY need to hear it right
about now.
