THREAD: This is going to be a long one. But I want to take a few minutes to point out some of the obvious moral and logical shortcomings at Seattle City Hall. If the press doesn't do it, then who will? #TheDivide #Q13FOX #SeattleProtest #SeattleRiots
Let's start with Councilwoman @Lisa_Herbold, who only calls for peace in Seattle when it allows her to make a political point against the president.
And while Councilwoman Herbold speaks with absolute certitude about what's happening 200 miles away in Portland, she acts as if she can't possibly know for sure what's happening in the city she is elected to serve.
One thing Councilwoman Herbold does seem to know for sure is that she does not agree with President Trump "politicizing" a police agency. Which is of course something the Seattle City Council would never, ever do.
And then there is Seattle Council President @MLorenaGonzalez, who condemns protesters going to the homes of council members, but says nothing when they go to @MayorJenny Durkan's house or when they spend 23 days occupying a city neighborhood where people live.
No politician - whether it is a city council member or a president - should be let off the hook when they display clear moral and logical inconsistency. If the press doesn't call this out, no one will.
