What is the exact plan for the lifting of the lockdown or unlocking process? How long will the citizens have to bear the repercussions of the lockdown? We will have to begin the process of normalisation and accept the fact that one has to live with the coronavirus.
There is an atmosphere of extreme fear in the minds of the people regarding the coronavirus and it’s spread. Unfortunately, various media mediums are responsible for this as well.
Undoubtedly, the virus spread is a critical issue but it needs to handled sensibly, too much has been spoken and overemphasised. It’s feasible to quarantine in big homes, how is it possible to do this in slums and overcrowded homes?
In the beginning, everyone was clueless as to the gravity of the coronavirus situation. So all that happened then, happened. But now, unlocking is the need of the hour. Also, the fear amongst the people needs to be handled and they need to be motivated.
There is a tremendous economic strain and people are losing their jobs. What has the government planned to do about this pressing issue? It’s imperative, the government puts forward a plan regarding this.
Many migrant workers have gone back to their states during the lockdown. Our party is working to ensure those jobs are given to the Marathi youth. My colleagues are in talks with the companies but the government needs to formulate a proper plan of action.
The work that my Maharashtra Sainiks have done in the past four months is unparalleled. They have worked relentlessly and selflessly for the people.
I avoided going out during the coronavirus pandemic as my party workers would have gathered in large numbers and that would have made them susceptible to catching the virus. However, those holding positions in the government must step out.
CM Uddhav Thackeray was seen on the television but the work was not visible. The central government points fingers at the state government and vice versa. The citizens have nothing to do with this, all they are looking at is a well-planned exit solution from this lockdown.
These are unprecedented times and I will never resort to criticise any government.
There have been mistakes from both the central and state government sides but as mentioned earlier, it’s not the right time to politicise this. The opposition parties should conduct themselves in a responsible manner. In future, I will talk on this.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the private hospitals have charged exorbitant and unreasonable bills and the government could not cap the billing effectively.
The Ram Mandir has to be built, there is no doubt about that. So many karsevaks sacrificed their lives.
The ‘bhumi pujan’ of Ram Mandir should be done on a scale which is befitting this Mandir. It should be done on a grand scale & in these prevalent times, it’s not possible to do so.
Let the coronavirus subside and subsequently the fear amongst the people and then let the ‘bhumi pujan’ be done on a grand scale. This is a momentous happening, an 'E-bhumi pujan' is not befitting.
Sonu Sood is definitely doing a remarkable job. Everyone has the intention of reaching out on such a scale, but financial restraints are there. Wonder who must have financed and stood behind Sonu; we will get to know in future.
The entertainment industry needs to be brought back on track and the rules and protocols applicable should be reasonable ones. So many countries are getting back on track. Of course, caution has to be taken, but extending the lockdown is not the solution.
The state government comprising of 3 parties may not last long. There appears to be a lack of coordination amongst them.
I have a definite vision for Maharashtra and I have elucidated that in my Blueprint for Maharashtra. Whenever the reigns of the state comes in my hands, that time, my vision will take form and become a reality.
I want to create a Maharashtra that will be the envy of this world; that’s my dream and I need the blessings of my people to achieve that.

Highlights of MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s press conference
• The farm law that the government has passed is not wrong. There may be a few shortcomings in that, which the respective state governments, as per their specific issues should coordinate with the central governments...
...and take it further. Power should be never be vested in the hands of a few people, that is the need of the hour and the people’s wish.
• The kind of security and surveillance present for the farmer's agitation is not required. This kind of patrolling mustn’t be present even on the borders of China or Pakistan.
The CM Uddhav Thackeray called for an all party leaders meet keeping the coronavirus pandemic situation in mind. Along with other party leaders of Maharashtra, I too put up a few recommendations and points. Hoping the government looks into all these seriously.
The last one and a half months, our police force is working day & night, thus they are exhausted. To give them some relief, the SRPF needs to be put into action. This will help our police force get the much needed rest and also keep a check on the anti social elements.
Travel arrangements to their native places need to be made for the students who came to Pune from various parts of the state for the competitive exams.
