This is a player Chelsea signed back in the transfer window, before immediately loaning him back to Dortmund...

As Hazard departed for Real Madrid, Pulisic was called upon and debuted for 32 minutes in a crushing 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on the opening day.

From a statistical point of view, it was a quiet start for Christian Pulisic 🤫

This was as a result of gradual integration as he climatised to the pace and physicality of the PL 💪

Abraham and Mount were the young players to shine in the spotlight early on💡

Much to his dismay, he was left out of the squad for a game away at Lille in the CL in October; as Frank frequently rotated in the early part of the season.

Pulisic vented his frustrations telling the media he was ‘hurt’ at being left out.

And then... He took his chance ⚽️⚽️⚽️

In his 3rd start in the Premier League, Pulisic netted the PERFECT hat-trick at Burnley to amass a whopping 2️⃣0️⃣ FPL points and then began to catch the eye of FPL managers everywhere 👀

As you can see, these were his first goals for Chelsea in the PL and this was in Gameweek 10.

Pulisic began to reap the rewards as he continued to score and assist reliably in the Autumn period, only to later have his mid-season disrupted by injuries, which kept him out of PL action for 10 matches collectively ❌

Lockdown came, and CP returned as a serious player ⚽️🅰️

For those worried about a fixture pile up for players of teams involved in Europe 🇪🇺

Unlikely to return from the aggregate score against Bayern Munich, 8th August should be the last of any competitive games until 12th September for Chelsea and Pulisic.

In summary, forget not Pulisic was so gradually blooded into a Chelsea team during the early stages of 2019/20. Hampered with injury distribution.

Has been one of the players of #ProjectRestart and had a very promising first season in Chelsea colours 🔵

A good season overall 👊

Set to start in a front three with Werner and Ziyech & with the transitional first season complete, Pulisic could offer insane value for money compared to those in the premium bracket...
