The Covid Relief package has been amended to $57 million based on feedback from the Mayor that $86 million would be hard to get out the door in 2020. Plus $3 million is being direct to community-led public safety. 7-1 vote with Sawant the no.
The council voted to use the remaining money to fill the city's 2020 budget hole, which was a recent forecast suggests is $26 million larger than thought.
