The #SushantSinghRajput case has taught me how fine, well meaning people can be misled and ill-informed by fake news. Explaining 'CDRs don't come with initials' or 'the mandate and proceedure of postmortems' can be difficult to explain to someone without domain knowledge.
If one isn't bothered about details or facts don't matter, dissemination of information is easier. Amplifying fake news is easier than correcting perceptions that've been created by constant bombardment of agenda driven information. Journalists have to do the latter, not former.
Post-mortem report, viscera report, initial statement of family, statements of mental health practitioners, statements of other witnesses recorded by police, nothing matters because all this evidence doesn't count when the agenda has been set & real news is far behind fake news.
No one is equipped to pass judgement on the #mentalhealth of a brilliant actor who is no longer amongst us except for those treating him and those who observed him everyday. Their statements are very clear about #SushantSinghRajput mental health. Let's at least respect his memory
Pages from old diaries prove he was ambitious and dedicated to his craft. It doesn't mean the late actor did not have mental health issues. His diary gives us a peak into his mind, not a diagnosis. Sweeping mental health issues under the carpet to serve agendas don't help anyone.
#SushantSinghRajput listed some goals in pages of his diary, many of which remained unfulfilled due to his untimely death. Some of the goals show he was thinker and wanted to put his thoughts into action. From improving society to personal, the man showed promise. Respect that.
Brilliant minds, super achievers struggled with mental health issues resulting in death by suicide. #SushantSinghRajput was no different. Jumping to conclusions to support baseless conspiracy theories effectively moves conversation away from #mentalhealth . #Respect his memory!
