HD video: Today the "Virginia Militia" brought out about 100 activists to march through Richmond to protest against gun control.
Chants of "Virginia will not fall!" filled the street for a few miles, from the capital to the Science Museum.

At the Science Museum, Virginia Militia leader Mike Dunn was apparently told by officers that his gathering qualified as a protest, and didn't have a permit.
"Do free men ask for permission to carry out flags and our symbols?" he said. "No they do not! We will not comply!"

The VA Militia circled back to the Siegel Center where the legislative session took place. Mike Dunn placed himself in the street; cop told him sidewalk.

The police argued with Mike Dunn for about 7 minutes before giving up.
Dunn continued to stand in the street despite the police's wishes.
